Day 1

Experiencing Withdrawal will recognize yesterdays blog post.

Now then, since Adam is a little girly bitch who couldn't take my constructive criticism, I shall let the destructive criticism commence!

Well i guess Adam just couldn't take the heat, so he had to get out of the kitchen, and since i am not a little girly bitch nor do i have a vagina, i can handle the heat with the best of them. In fact, I invite everyone to criticize The Blog freely, and from your criticism i will strive to make The Blog better than the Hooooblers blog ever was! This will not be difficult, as i now realize the Hoooblers blog was nothing more than the mundane dribble of a man who cared so little that it took every fiber of his being to not stab himself in the eye whenever he made a post.

Hooooooooblers is talking about making a FINAL blog post, and we here at Experiencing Withdrawal are not ok with that. But we are aware of the boost this will give to our popularity, and isn't being popular what lifes all about. So go on Adam, whatever you do, I will find the positive.

I now know what Adam goes through with his blog. Its not tough, i just have to rule Experiencing Withdrawal with an iron fist. Day 11

I will be honest, i almost missed day 11. I actually kind of did, since it is 12:15am on day 12 here, but its only 10:15 in Portland baby! Besides, i live my life on pacific time anyways. Today (day 11) I woke up at 3:05 pm (central time) which i figure is really only 1:05. Besides, in the winter nothing good happens between the hours of 5am and 1pm (central time). I will admit though, when I got in my car 45 minutes after waking up, and i had to turn my headlights on because it was already dark out, that kind of sucked.

Day 8

Today we have arrived at the 8th day without a blog post by Hoooblers. And i will admit I am finding it easier and easier to get by. The way i see it, The Hooooblers Blog is like the American economy, in a downward spiral so bad it may never fully recover. Now, "Experiencing Withdrawal" on the other hand is like the 700 Billion dollar bailout. It really isn't helping the situation, but you don't know that, so it allows you to sleep easier at night. Well, as hooblers has already called me his "fiercest pundit", i feel it is safe to say i am the foremost critic of The Hooooooooblers Blog, and today we learn that i do count. These last two weeks i have waged a tireless war against The Hoooblers Blog and Fantastical Adventures in Shennanigans, and today I am the victor. I have worked tirelessly and today i can taste the fruits of my labor. The Hoooblers blog is dead, and although this is not the end i wanted, i am proud to declare myself king of the blog world. So today, Hooblers will become the first member of Experiencing Withdrawal's very own wall of shame, with a new and better name. I welcome Adam Hoooooooblers to become the first member of "THE POOP DECK".

I am to emotionally distraught to possibly churn out a quality blog today. Adam has claimed to have entered into a mutual relationship with a women, and has flat out said this will negatively effect the blog. As of this time I am not able to process this information to the extent that i can adequately blog about it. I will try to make up for that with an amazing quote.

Volunteering

What's the deal with volunteering? The purpose of work is to be compensated fairly for the quality of work I am doing.

If I am volunteering, then I am being paid nothing, therefore my work is worthless.

Day 4

Today is Day 4 that we have been forced to go without a blog, and to say the least, i am more than a little disappointed. As we here at Experiencing Withdrawal do everything we can to please and entertain our faithful readership, I fear that the people over at The Hoooblers Institute are taking you guys/girls for granted. As Adam sees himself improving, I believe he feels he is quickly becoming to good for us, and The Hooooooooblers Blog. I assure you Adam, nothing and no one is to good for The Hooooblers Blog.

Day 3

I am hoping to be proved wrong, and that it actually wont be 3 days without a blog, since there is still ample time for Hooblers to post one today. But i think we all know thats not going to happen.

So today i will look into the real reason Hooooblers is not updating the blog. Adam is trying to improve himself. It has been happening since the start of the school year, but only recently has it escalated to what could be called a catastrophic level. It is a two prong improvement, both mental and physical.

First the mental, Adam, as many of you are aware, is now taking Latin. Lets be honest, this seems like it is a very difficult course with plently of homework, but Adam has persevered, and it appears that he will actually finish this 3 credit hour course, with the possibility that he will even do nexts semester 3 credit hours. The amount of time he is taking to study Latin is clearly taking away from what his friends hold most dear (the blog).

Second, the physical. This is probably the most dramatic switch of them all. Hooblers is now a skillet free man, and has been for quite some time. Whats next Adam? No smoking? No drinking? What are you going to throw at us next.

And one can see the changes (wether they are actually for the better is debatable). Yesterday I put my laptop(displaying Hoooblers Blog) in front of Adam, instead of posting he decided to listen to Ross McCormacks lecture. I have drawn the conclusion, that i will no longer be able to goad Adam into blogging. I figure my goading was responsible for about 43% of the blog posts over the last year, so i am preparing for a significant drop in blog posts.

Twofor Tuesday! Now on Thursdays!

Twofor Tuesday makes it blog debut today, Thursday. It will be a two part blog today. First Hooooblers, then Ziesmann.

As yours truly (no not adam) predicted, Hoooblers was full of excuses today for his lack of blog posting over the last 3 days. He has mentioned his lack on internet at home, as well as being to busy with his Latin homework. I find both of these unacceptable. I am trying to start a blog war, and Hooblers has dropped into a ball and now remains motionless on the ground. I am now experiencing the following symptoms;
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Falling heart rate and blood pressure
  • Fatigue, drowsiness, and insomnia
  • Irritability
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Increased hunger and caloric intake
  • Increased desire for the taste of sweets


Ziess on the other hand, has publicly (if you can call his blog public) declared his support for what he is refering to as "The Blog". Make no mistake, this is a blow to Experiencing Withdrawal. It would be a bigger blow if anyone besides me actually read Ziess' blog, so perhaps its merely a flesh wound. But we will carry on with the dignity and respect you have come to expect from us, and as we continue we can only hope this blog war will not be our Waterloo.

Also, we will now have a quote of the day... in english... since we are in Canada... so if you don't speak english you might as well get the hell out (no latin).

Day 2 - A blog substitute

This is now 2 days without a blog post or any sort of response to the blog war challenge. I will except no excuses from Adam, all though i am sure he will be full of them.

Regardless, i have found a blog substitute in Sarpinos. Last year, when the Sarpinos across from the U of W closed, it was a huge shock, and great disappointment. Sarpinos closing was allmost as big a factor to my carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms as the lack of Hooooblers blog. But today i found a new Sarpinos, located on Kenaston just south of McGillvary. It was everything that i remembered, and seems to have neutralized any symptoms caused by the lack of Hoooblers blog or carbon monoxide.

Day 1

Yes it has been 1 day without a blog post, but it has also been 1 day without a response to my previous blog post. This is a most shocking development. Could it be that the Hooblers blog has cowardly hid, or perhaps he is preparing a brilliant tactical maneuver. Only time will tell, as this "blog war" plays out before are very eyes.

Hooobler's Blog

As you all know, the Hoooblers blog was updated today. Its topic was actually this blog (apparently i have hit the big time), and let me say that with the help of my blog, the Hoooblers blog had its best blog post of the last 6 months.

Chalk This One Up In The Win Column

My vast readership is probably disapointed in the lack of blog updates over the last day. I know you are thinking that its actually 2 days... but it is only 1. I posted the last post at 12:29 am, then simply changed the timezone of the blog to have it count for the previous day;) So there was actually no blog post on the 7th, but one on the 8th.

But why does that mean this is a win. Simple, the point of this blog is to get Adam Hoooooooblers to blog more! When i first started my blog, i posted everyday, and it got hooblers posting. However, he quickly became immune to the pressure my blog was creating. I responded by not posting, creating no pressure, and causing Hoooblers pressure levels to plumet. Hoooooblers quickly realized this, and in response posted on his blog, realizing that is was the only way I would blog, and raise his pressure level up to a comfortable level.

Day 3

I am finding it more and more difficult to get by without the blog, partly because it means i have to try to put some effort into a post of my own (this does not give me a greater respect for what hoooblers does). Unlike hoooblers, i care about my readership (even if there isn't one). Hoooblers simply takes his immense natural gift, and flushes it down the toilet. First the blog which he cares so little about, and now the skillets. This is the sort of natural disaster where the army would usually get called in, but instead, goes unnoticed. This is why, I think the Hooobler Blog should begin to advertise in the Uniter.

Day 2

The craving for sweets has increased 10 fold today, and the faintness from day 1 remains. But i am hopeful for tomorrow that we may see another blog post. I doubt it though, despite the fact that Hoooblers will not be attending class tomorrow, he is so drained of quality material he is becoming raisin like.

Also of the utmost importance is the fact that Adam has given up Skillets. That is correct, the quest for 150 didn't even make it 2 months, and the total barely got over 10. This is a sad, sad day in the history of mankind. Never has so much of a natural gift gone to waste.

  • Anxiety
  • Increased hunger and caloric intake
  • Increased desire for the taste of sweets
It appears it will be a long winter.
